Welcome to the Smokeless Cigarettes Shop! I have set up this site because of the amount of confusing information that is being plastered over the internet regarding smokeless cigarettes. Over the last 10 months or so I have spent so much time trawling the internet trying to find solid information about electronic cigarettes and smokeless cigarettes. In the end I have had to buy a number of E cigarette starter kits to find exactly what I wanted. A lot of the reviews I read, while being quite accurate in what they said, didn’t tell me the whole story, so I have set up this site to try and get across all of the information that anyone needs so they can go out and buy E cigarettes that suit them perfectly. So once I manage to find some more free time from my regular job I am going to post up a whole host of electronic cigarette reviews, covering the kits that I have bought so far, then depending on how well the information is received, and if I can find some spare money, I may buy some of the other popular smokeless electronic cigarettes to review and compare them to the kits that I’ve used before.

As well as the E cigarette reviews I’ll try and post up any of the interesting news articles that I come across regarding E cigarettes, as many of you will know there are those against E cigs and those that are in favor of them, so some of the news pieces can provide quite an interesting read!

About Smokeless Cigarettes

The smokeless cigarette, or electronic cigarette, has really started to take off over the last few years. I only really started to take interest in them after a family member started to use one to get around the new ban on smoking in public places, because there is no burning tobacco there’s no smoke given off and no one around you is harmed, brilliant huh? Not only did he use it to get around the ban, he found that he actually felt better after a few months using his E cigarette, his “smokers cough” had went away almost completely and when he went to the gym he found that running got a lot easier, a lot quicker. This is what really attracted me to the product, I thought it was just a gimmick, but after hearing this I really wanted to give it a try.

The item that my cousin had bought was a little cheap item from China and he had had a few problems with it, resulting in it needing parts or the whole E cig replaced. So I wasn’t going to buy one of those was I? So after a quick look on Google I found that there were quite a number of brands to choose from, from Luci and Safe Cigs to Green Smoke and Blu Cigs. To buy some of these brands is quite a big investment, so you really want to get the right brand the first time round. As I said above, I’ve had to buy a few brands to find one that I really liked and that was of a decent quality. So coming up as soon as I have some free time is going to be a whole bunch of E cigarette reviews to try and help you all out and so that you buy the best electronic cigarette the first time of trying.

Not only do you have to choose from a massive number of brands but there are also a range of other things you have to think about. Many of the big brand smokeless cigarette manufacturers have been introducing loads of different flavors of re-fill cartridge, flavors such as coffee, apple, cherry, chocolate, as well as the regular and classic tobacco flavors. Another important thing to take into consideration is the accessories that you have available with specific E cigarettes, every time I check on the manufacturers websites they have another cool little add-on for my cigarette. There are various charges to suit so many situations, from the normal wall charger for use in the home, to USB chargers that you can power from your computer and in car chargers. I have also started to notice a number of cool carry cases which can do a lot more than just carry your electronic cigarette and keep it safe, but more on that when I get round to reviewing them.

One of the biggest selling points of the V2 Cig is the battery. They use a 4.2 volt battery, compared to 3.5 or 3.7 volts, or there abouts, of the other brands in the market. It actually makes a massive difference, even though the power increase appears to be small. I’ve used cartridges from other brands on my V2 battery and it increases the vapor production substantially. Not only does the more powerful batteries help create more vapor, but they appear to have the same endurance as less powerful batteries as well, which is quite an achievement. Their standard battery (110mm in length) will give you enough smoking time to use up a full cartridge, 200 puffs, which is about the same as a pack of cigarettes. If you need a little bit more smoking time then you can choose to have their longer battery, which is 140mm in length. This will give you an amazing 300+ puffs per charge. Very impressive.

The V2 Cig isn’t a one trick pony though, their cartridges produce some of the best flavors and vapor on the market today. The power of the battery is one factor in producing great vapor, but the nicotine carts have got to be up to standard as well. V2 hit the nail on the head the first time round with their cartridges. In many cases, companies take a few months or maybe a year to perfect their product after its initial release, but from the word ‘Go’ V2 has been on top of all aspects. The carts help to create masses of vapor and they taste fantastic.

V2 Cigs also offer a wide range of flavors as well. They have a lot of fruity, interesting flavors like cherry, cola, peppermint, coffee, vanilla and chocolate, but they also do a nice range of tobacco flavors, these are – Congress, Red Tobacco and Sahara. A range of tobacco flavors is one thing that most electronic cigarette manufacturers miss out on. They simply offer a single tobacco flavor. In many cases this flavor is nice, but it will only appeal to a few tobacco smokers, V2 try and cater for as many different tastes as possible.

I’ve been lucky enough to get a sample of all the flavors on offer and the highlights for me are Red tobacco, cherry and cola. They really are outstanding! All of the other flavors they offer are great too, there isn’t a bad flavor on offer. Something that few companies have been able to achieve.

For most people that would be enough to convince them that V2 Cigs are the device to go with, but they have even more on offer. They have a great selection of accessories as well. The best of these has got to be the Power Cig. This device looks like a normal battery, but it plugs directly into your computers USB port, or even the wall A/C adapter. Being plugged directly into the power source means that is can generate even more power (5.1 volts in this case) which in turn creates even more vapor! Personally I thought the thickness of the vapor couldn’t get any better than that produced by the batteries, but this proved me wrong. If you sit at a computer all day or night, then you have got to buy one of these, at $35 it doesn’t seem cheap, but it is truly worth every cent.

There is also a range of E cigarette cases on offer too. They have a generic hard case, as well as a portable charging case, which is really handy if you spend most of the day out of the house and need somewhere to give your battery a little boost. The battery inside the case will allow you to fully charge your E cig battery about 5 times before it will need replenished itself. I have the portable charging case and it comes everywhere with me, just in case I run out of power at work. It also has space for 2 cartridges as well.

V2 also offer a soft carry case, this doesn’t charge your batteries, but it does let you carry three batteries around with you, as well as four refills. Personally I think that this is one of the best looking E cigarette cases available and I’ll be buying one the next time I order refill cartridges.

Prices

Prices for V2 products are very reasonable considering just how good they are. The basic starter kit comes in at $60. The kit I went for, and the one I recommend you go for, is the Traveller Kit, which costs $130. This kit includes the two best accessories that V2 offer, the portable charging case and the Power Cig. As well as two batteries and a bunch of nicotine cartridges.

You are also able to choose from automatic and manual batteries. If you haven’t used a manual battery I suggest you give one a try. The difference between the auto and manual batteries is that with the manual you need to press a little button to activate the atomizer. This sounds off putting to many, but it really doesn’t detract from the experience, in fact it makes it better as it means you wont need to perform a primer puff before you take a full drag, and it also increases the amount of vapor produced, that’s always a good thing. The only downside to this type of battery is that you will lose a little bit of endurance. It’s well worth it though.

I honestly believe that the V2 Cig is the best smokeless cigarette on the market right now. It blows everyone else out of the water, Safe Cig and Green Smoke included. Whether you are buying your first electronic cigarette or if you are looking for something different you are going to be delighted with the V2, I’m sure of it.

Since South Beach Smoke are pretty new on the smokeless cigarettes scene they are working hard to get their name out their to potential new users, so they were kind enough to offer me a discount in return for a review on my website. That’s a pretty fair deal. So I bought their Deluxe Starter Kit ($49.99/$99.99) to see if they were as good as I had been promised.

I was unsure what to expect really as I hadn’t heard a lot about South Beach before hand, I heard people talking about them, but not much in the way of reviews, so the water was untested, so to speak.

First impressions were good though, the packaging was nice, very classy and everything looked and smelled like it should.

Using The South Beach

The South Beach Deluxe cigarette is a two piece design (their “Premium” device is a 3 piece) so it’s easy to trouble free to get vaping. After a few priming puffs to get the fresh atomizer working at it’s best you are rewarded with a good amount of vapor. It’s not ground breaking by any means, but it is decent. Enough to make you feel at home. The tobacco flavor that I have went for is really very nice, it’s not really a very strong tobacco flavor but it’s nice none the less. The type of flavor that most people are going to like, it shouldn’t be offensive to anyone.

As I’m trying to cut down on my nicotine intake I opted for 12mg (Light) refills, sadly with these there isn’t much of a throat hit, even with 3 or 4 big drags you don’t get much throat feel. This might be improved by choosing the “Full Flavored” 16mg, but I would still expect a reasonable hit at 12mg though.

Cartridges

When it comes down to choosing cartridges you have an OK selection to choose from. South Beach offer Tobacco, Menthol, Cherry, Vanilla and Chocolate. It’s not an amazing selection and it doesn’t offer any unusual flavors, but it is good enough for most people. Sadly I’ve not tried any of the other flavors but I am going to try and get a hold of them and see how they perform. I’ll update this when I do.

In my experience so far I have been able to get between 200 and 250 puffs out of each cartridge, this equates to 20 to 25 regular cigarettes. This is slightly better than average, so pretty good.

Cost

When you have a look at the South Beach Smoke website you will notice that there are three prices for their refill packs (and two prices for their E cigarette starter kits). The first two of the prices for the refills are pretty self explanatory, the regular price and a price for buying in bulk. At the regular price you will pay £39.99 for 15 cartridges ($2.66 each), if you buy in bulk, 4 packs of 15 at a time or more, you will pay just $31.99 per pack of 15 ($2.13 each). Then you have the member price, what is this you ask? Well, basically when you buy your starter kit you can choose to join up to the South Beach Home Delivery Program, this means that you have a set number of refill cartridges sent to your home every few weeks automatically. Saving you from reordering cartridges all the time. In return for signing up to the program you get a discount on your starter kit and a substantial reduction on your refills. It will cost you only $29.99 for 15 refill cartridges in the program (only $1.99 each).

Batteries

In the Deluxe starter kit you get 2 batteries, a 2.5 inch and a 3.25 inch. As you would expect you get more use out of the larger battery before you need to recharge it. Other than that there is no difference between the experience provided by each of the batteries. From the smaller battery I found I got about 350-400 puffs out of a full charge, so almost enough time to use two full refills. I haven’t use the larger battery all that much because its a little too big to carry around with me in the cases that I have, but you should get about 600 puffs out of it.

Overall I think the South Beach Smoke Deluxe kit is a really good device one of the best electronic cigarettes, there isn’t all that much that I can find to fault with it. The only things that I would like to see is a stronger throat feel as there isn’t much there right now. The only other thing is to improve the vapor, this is just minor thing, but I feel it would make the overall experience much more authentic. Compared to the Safe Cig and Green Smoke, they are very close if not equal to both of these devices.

When my starter kit arrived I was pretty impressed, I looks like it should cost much more than $65. Inside the really nice box there is 2 batteries, a USB charger, 5 cartridges and a portable charging case. I would expect to pay quite a bit more for all of this. Kudos to Apollo.

Using The Apollo

Once you get everything out the box and ready to go you kinda of see why the kit costs what it does. When you take your first drag you will be greeted with a really effortless drag, a really good throat hit, and when you exhale a decent amount of vapor, but sadly the tobacco flavor refills are not that great. Initially the taste is OK, but after I inhaled and exhaled I did notice that there was a bit of a strange after taste, I cant put my finger on what it tastes like but it isn’t great, it’s not foul at all but it just isn’t great.

Cartridges

As I mentioned above the taste given off by the cartridges isn’t all that good, I only tried the tobacco variety, Apollo do offer a few different flavors, these are – Tobacco, Menthol, Coffee, Cherry and Vanilla. I’ve heard a few mixed opinions about the other flavors too, some people like them, some people find that they also have strange after-tastes.

I persevered with the Apollo for the sake of this E cigarette review, and out of a full cartridge I managed to get about 250 puffs, or there abouts, this equates to about 20 regular cigarettes, this is pretty good duration.

Cost

A pack of 5 refills will cost you $12.50, so it will cost you $2.50 for the same amount of smoking time you would get from a pack of regular cigarettes. This price is about average.

Vapor

Vapor production is about average as well, I wouldn’t go as far as saying that it was thick vapor, it’s actually pretty thin. It certainly isn’t going to worry the guys over at The Safe Cig or Green Smoke, that’s for sure. These days vapor production is one of the most important aspects of an E cigarette, so if other things are not up to scratch the vapor has got to be.

Batteries

One of the plus points of the Apollo E Cigarette is their batteries, they do last pretty well, I managed to get about 350 puffs out of a fully charged battery, so its more than enough for some one who smokes 1 to 1.5 packs/cartridges a day. The Standard starter kit comes with two of these batteries, so even the heaviest smokers will have enough battery power to see them through the day.

Another really good thing about the Apollo is the Portable Charging Case (PCC) that comes with the kit. It has been designed to look like a regular pack of cigarettes to make you feel even more at home when using your E cigarette. Inside the case there is enough space for you to keep 2 batteries and 5 cartridges. So if you are heading away for the weekend then you probably wont need much more than this case filled with carts and batteries. The case charges your batteries one at a time, screw the battery into the case and hold down the button on the front on the case and your battery will be fully charged in an hour or so. You should be able to charge up you batteries 5 times at least before you will need to plug the case in your computers USB port to charge it back up.

The only downside the this case is that it is quite big, there are other PCCs on the market that have a much lower profile so fit in my pocket a little more comfortably, but it does look great, so that makes up for it in some way.

As you can see the Apollo E cigarette has got a few flaws, things that mean I would recommend that you don’t buy these smokeless cigarettes. I strongly suggest that you look at The Safe Cig or Green Smoke instead. If Apollo can make their cartridges to taste better and produce a thicker vapor then I think the platform is there for it to be one of the best electronic cigarettes.

Safe Cigs

The Safe Cig was one of the first smokeless cigarettes that became available on the US market back in 2006. Since then they have been working hard on their product to try to make it the best they can. Recently that work has been paying off, they have perhaps the most advanced electronic smokeless cigarette on the market right now. Not only is it advanced but it is an excellent product, producing great vapor and great taste too. Up until recently they had totally missed the mark regarding their marketing and packaging. It all looked very basic and cheap, but at the end of 2010 they had a huge makeover, bringing their range right into the 21st century. Their great looking packaging now matches their great product.

It is pretty close between Green Smoke and The Safe Cig, it’s really hard to choose which is the best. But if you are like me and you really enjoy a cigarette then the Safe Cig will give you and experience as close to real tobacco as you can get, and not only that the Safe Cig will cost you less than the Green Smoke starter kits. So for that reason The Safe Cig is the one to go for!

Green Smoke E Cigarettes

Green Smoke have been one of the top E cigarette brands for quite some time now. Their popularity and success is well deserved though, they are keen to take E cigarettes to the next level, they keep pushing their products further and further to make using E cigarettes the new choice for tobacco smokers.

Greensmoke refill cartridges are without doubt one of the best in the business, they taste fantastic and they produce huge amounts of vapor and unlike some cartridges you don’t need to refill them, just throw the old one away (or recycle it) and stick on a new one. It is totally hassle free. The only down side to Greensmoke is their high initial price, buying their basic starter kit will set you back $139.00. While this is expensive the kit is well worth the money, the batteries, cartridges and accessories are of the highest quality.

If you have the money to spend and want the best selling E cigarette, the Greensmoke is the one to go for.

Blu Cigs

Up until last year it would have been easier to exclude Blu Cigs from a list of the best electronic cigarettes, while they produced a good product that was nice to use and gave a decent smoking experience, they were made in three parts (cartridge, atomizer and battery) unlike the two brands above which have used a two piece design for as long as I’ve known of them. This two piece design gives a much better, more realistic smoking experience, so Blu would always have been bottom of the pile.

Thankfully Blu have caught right up with the pack, they now use Johnson Creek cartomizers (cartridge and atomizer in one), these are considered to be one of the best you can buy, great quality and great vapor production. Add this to the Blu starter kit only costing $70 there really is no reason why you shouldn’t give Blu a try.

For the first time buyer choosing what brand to go for can be pretty hard, while Green Smoke may have been the only choice to go for at the start of 2010, now it is a lot closer, Safe Cigs and Blu Cigs have caught up fast and are now giving Green Smoke a run for their money. While I used to always return to my Green Smoke I now think that the Safe Cig is the best electronic cigarette that you can buy right now.

When I ordered my regular Premium Electronic Cigarette I decided to try out one of their disposable electrtonic cigarettes as well. I’ve only ever used one other disposable E cigarette and I found it to be a pretty good smoke.

When the E cigarette arrived I was actually quite impressed with how it was packaged in its own little tube, it was well sealed so I imagine if you bought quite a few they would stay fresh for quite an amount of time. If you are not aware of it, the liquid in smokeless cigarettes can go off quite quickly if they are not sealed properly, in some cases it only takes a week of exposure to fresh air.

Once I had the device out of its packaging the first thing that I noticed was that there was only a single air hole on the side of it, so right away I knew that it would be quite hard to take a drag out of. I wasn’t wrong, you really do have to work quite hard to get a decent drag out of the thing, it is significantly harder to drag from than the normal Premium E Cigarette.

Vapor and Throat Hit

Usually if the cigarette offers a lot of resistance when you are inhaling from it it will mean that the vapor production is lower too, however, while the vapor production isn’t great, if you take a primer puff you can get OK vapor from it, though the throat hit is almost none existent. There is a slight tingle, but there isn’t a lot to notice. Again it is less than you get from the non disposable Premium E Cigarette.

Flavor

I opted for a menthol disposable E cig, sadly I didn’t get the tobacco flavored one to try. The menthol flavor is actually quite good. I wouldn’t say it was the best available, but it is decent. It is different again from the menthol cartridges you get with the non disposable device, I would say that the flavor from the disposable device was a little less “bright” and fresh. I guess that they have a different manufacturer for the disposable and non-disposable E cigarettes, that would explain the difference in vapor, throat hit and flavor.

Who Are Disposable E Cigarettes For?

Disposable E Cigarettes are not intended for everyone, they are going to appeal more to certain people than to others. I think the main market will be for people who still enjoy their tobacco cigarettes and don’t want to give them up, but they do want to be able to smoke inside on some occasions. That could be in the office, when at a sporting event, or when on a night out, something like that, where they are unable to light up a tobacco cigarette, but once they get home they revert back to using tobacco. For someone like me who uses their smokeless cigarette all the time they are just too expensive – they are $10 each, this gives you 500 puffs, or about 40 tobacco cigarettes worth of use. Yes they are still cheaper than smoking tobacco, but they are quite a bit more expensive than buying refill cartridges for your 2 or 3 piece E cigarette. And while they are more hassle free, I don’t think that makes up for the price difference.

Overall the disposable Premium E Cigarette is not bad. If you only want to use your E cigarette now and again then this might suit you perfectly, but the smoking experience is a lot better with the non disposable Premium E Cigarette and better still with other brands of smokeless cigarettes. So if you are looking for a permanent replacement for tobacco cigarettes then this is not going to be for you, Safe Cigs might be more what you are looking for.

Before we start, this E cigarette review is about the E Cigarettes Inc. Vapor King, not the Vapor King that is made by Vapor4Life. For some reason there are two companies selling two smokeless cigarettes with the same name. The E Cigs Inc. device that I am reviewing is a 3 piece E cigarette. This is actually the first 3 piece device that I’ve reviewed for this site. This is mainly because the 2 piece E cigarette is better (in my opinion) and is also a lot more popular with E smokers. But I thought for the sake of completeness I would get my hands on a 3 piece and see how they perform these days. I first heard about the Vapor King close to 2 years ago, but because it was 3 piece I just didn’t bother with it. When I thought about buying one this time round the Vapor King was the first one to spring to mind (actually the second behind Blu Cigs, but they don’t make 3 piece E cigarettes any more). Enough jibbering already!

eTank

The Vapor King features something called “eTank Technology” which is hyped up quite a bit on the website. This is a new design of cartridge, this design negates the need for cotton or wool inside the cartridge, instead it is just nicotine liquid and empty space. The carts are actually transparent so you can see inside them and see what they mean. This design is also meant to help give more consistent vapor production and flavor as well.

Because this is the first 3 piece I’ve used in a long time it was quite an odd experience at first when I opened up the box. You have all the usual things, batteries, cartridges, manuals, chargers and then you have the atomizers sitting as well. Anyway, I screwed the atomizer into the battery and then grabbed a cartridge, the first thing I noticed about the cartridges is that the wrappers are covered in E-liquid on the insides, in the past this has meant that I’m going to get a mouth full of foul tasting liquid at some point. Though thankfully this has not been the case at all so far. I did find it pretty hard to get the wrapper open to get the cartridge out though, thankfully I had scissors to hand to help me out, but I think this could be pretty annoying when you are out of the house. Also that liquid that was on the inside of the packaging ended up all over my hands, its pretty sticky and smells quite a bit, I was starting to remember why I don’t bother with 3 piece E cigarettes.

Using The Vapor King

Once I got past all of the messing around and actually get to use the Vapor King it still wasn’t great. The first thing that I noticed was the amount of effort I had to put in to get a decent drag out of the thing. There seems to be quite a lot of resistance. Even loosening off the atomizer from the battery doesn’t make any difference. Also, the tobacco flavor isn’t up to much, it has got a funny taste to it which isn’t really like tobacco, but the longer I used it the more I started to like it. On the upside it creates a really good amount of vapor, on par with the big vapor producers like Green Smoke, you don’t even have to give it a primer puff as you do with many automatic battery E cigarettes, but if you do throw in a little primer you are given even more vapor in return. Vapor King also offer a manual battery, in my experience these help create even more vapor, so I think it possible that it will surpass the vapor that most other brands create.

Cartridges/eLiquid

Sadly I only got tobacco flavored refills to try. If you opt for pre-filled cartridges you only have menthol or tobacco to choose from, but if you are willing to fill up the cartridges with E-liquid yourself there are many more options for you to choose from. Such as vanilla, chocolate, coffee, cherry, apple and strawberry. And of course you are not restricted to using Vapor King E-liquid you can fill empty carts up with your favorite brand, such as liquids from Titan Vapors or GoodEJuice.

If you go for the pre filled cartridges that Vapor King offers each one is going to give you about 12-14 cigarettes worth of smoking time depending on how you use them. So in a pack of 5 refills you get 3 packs worth of tobacco cigarettes. This is quite low compared to most other brands who claim at least 1 pack of tobacco cigarettes for a refill. However this short durability is reflected in the price, for 5 refills it costs just $9.95, which is quite a bit lower than many other brands, so it all evens out in the end.

One thing that I’ve noticed about these cartridges is that they start leak around the join between the cartridge and the atomizer, I’m not sure why this is but it’s not ideal, again you end up with E-liquid on your fingers. It doesn’t come out quickly though, so you do get time to notice it so that it doesn’t make its way into your mouth, if you’ve had this stuff in your mouth before you will know that its not very nice at all.

Batteries

The batteries too hold charge for less time than you would expect. Out of a fully charged battery I found that it would last only a little longer than a full cartridge, so you will no doubt need to carry 2 batteries around with you to last you the full day. Though Vapor King do also offer a portable charging case, that I didn’t buy, so you can charge your batteries when on the move and have somewhere to store spare cartridges as well.

Overall the Vapor King is OK, it’s not great nor is it poor, if you forget about all the messing around when you first set it up – which will be the same with any 3 piece E cigarette. If the tobacco flavor was improved I’d be pretty happy to use it all the time, you get a great throat hit from it all the time and the vapor that comes off it is up there with the best vapor producers such as Green Smoke. Would I give up using 2 piece E Cigarettes for this? Probably not, I’m not really a fan of the separate atomizer set up, I prefer the ease of use of 2 piece designs. But if you have a E-juice/E-liquid that you like to use and want another E cig to use it with then this is a great base product.

The Premium Electronic Cigarette was a bit of an impulse buy on my part. I had read one or two brief reviews about them which seemed to suggest they were pretty good, and at that time I was really wanting to try a few more devices out to compare them, not only for myself but for the people who come and read this site.

I had a look through the Premium E Cigarettes website to see what starter kit I should go for, in the end I chose the pretty basic “On The Go E Cigarette Kit”. Basically all you get with this kit is one battery, a pack of 5 cartridges and a portable charging case. I honestly didn’t expect this E cigarette to be better than the others I already owned so didn’t want to spend too much money on it, so spending $50 on this kit was more than enough. Though I did buy a bunch of single cartridges of various flavors to try them out, because they had a massive range of weird and wonderful flavors on offer, I couldn’t resist.

When the kit arrived I was quite amazed and how basic it was, it didn’t come in a nice box or anything like that, just the charging case and battery wrapped in bubble wrap and the boxes of cartridges, but then it occurred to me that that’s all I had bought and it only cost me $50. I opted for a red carry case, which is pretty nice and of a decent quality, not the best, but not bad, inside it there is room of a single battery and 2 cartridges.

The battery looks much as you would expect, like a cigarette paper and it has got a nice paper feel to it, but it doesn’t feel like it’ll wash off in rain. The battery also seems to be quite light compared to some others, but after weighing it, it isn’t, but maybe the distribution is different. Anyway, it feels really nice in your hands and it really easy to hold between your index and middle fingers when taking a drag from it.

When I attached a cartridge and started to puff away I was a little disappointed with the vapor production, it seemed to be really low, in some cases almost non existent. I thought this was a little odd and unexpected. I used it for a while and when things didn’t improve I decided to plug it into the carry case to charge the battery up, but nothing happened, so I guess that it doesn’t come pre charged, nor does the battery – at least not fully charged. So I charge the case up then the battery and that really transformed things. The vapor production was many times better than before. Though I have to say some flavors produce more vapor than others, some of them still don’t produce all that much.

Flavors/Cartridges

The Premium Electronic Cigarette has got a whopping 19 different flavors to choose from, including strawberry, red energy, peach, watermelon and many others along with the usual tobacco, menthol and clove. I ordered 11 of these flavors and I was really excited to try them out when they arrived. Too be honest they aren’t all that bad, some are pretty good and some are OK, but on the whole they aren’t bad at all. Out of the ones I tried I think watermelon and apple were the pick of the bunch.

Tobacco flavored smokeless cigarettes can be really hit or miss for me, some are great and some are not too hot, in this case the Premium E Cigarettes tobacco flavor isn’t all that great. Sometimes it can have a bit of an odd taste to and sometimes its OK. But it really has got nothing on either the Classic Tobacco flavor offered by Safe Cigs, or the Red Tobacco that V2 Cigs offers. So if you are looking for a genuine tobacco smoking experience these might be one for you to miss. If you are looking for more interesting flavors then this could be right up your street, as some of fruity flavors are pretty good.

One thing I didn’t like about the cartridges overall was that they provide quite a harsh throat hit. Normally with higher nicotine content you get a roughly feeling in the throat, but these cartridges are only 16mg, but they really feel like more than that. I’m not sure why this is.

Prices

The prices for refill cartridges is pretty much on par with most of the other big brands. $12.50 will get you 5 refill cartridges, but as usual you are able to save money if you buy more cartridges at one time. You can in fact safe up to $3 off of each pack if you buy 20 packs or more at one time, that’s quite a good deal.

Battery Life And Charging

Because the tobacco flavor isn’t that great with the Premium E Cig I really haven’t been using it as much as I would have liked for reviewing purposes and when I have I’ve been sticking it in the charging case to charge up between uses and I’ve been plugging the case into my computer when ever possible, so I’m not totally sure how long the batteries last, but I guess with this style of kit that’s what you are supposed to do. You will certainly get a good few days of use if you keep your battery topped up with charge from the case. One thing that the case could do with is a LCD display like the V2 Cig has, so that you know how much charge is left in the case and so you know when you plug it back into your computer.

Improvements

As I mentioned above I wasn’t too keen on the really rough feeling in the throat when you take a drag, the 16mg cartridges give you a feeling of smoking a much stronger nicotine cartridge. Personally I would like to see this made to be a little smoother.

I would also like their tobacco flavor to be a bit better, but, I have just been on the Premium E Cigarettes website and I have noticed that they have got another tobacco flavor available to buy called “Premium Tobacco” so perhaps this will suit my taste buds a little more than their regular tobacco refill.

Overall the Premium Electronic Cigarette is pretty good, I’m not going to tell you that its the best device on the market because there are better E cigarettes out there, but it is certainly far, very far, from being the worst. And at $80 for a normal starter kit and $50 for the “On The Go” kit that I bought they are really cheap. If they improve the feel given off by the cartridges on the throat and improve the flavors are little bit I think they could be a real contender. But for the time being The Safe Cig, the V2 Cig and GreenSmoke are still way ahead of them.

These days it is going to cost us at least $7 to buy a pack of cigarettes in the USA, in some places they can cost as much at $10. These prices are never going to go down, governments are going to keep on piling up the taxes on tobacco products not only because they want to appear to be encouraging people to stop smoking by making it too expensive for them, but it also makes them huge amounts of money in revenue. So rather than hoping for prices to fall, or just sitting back and taking them, you should consider changing to smokeless cigarettes to fulfil your nicotine needs if you dont want to stop smoking or you are unable to.

When you first look at smokeless cigarettes you are going to think that the initial cost is pretty high, you are right it is pretty costly, but you need to get over that hurdle because once you are past it there is the possibility to save massive amounts of money from your smoking bill.

If you smoke a pack of cigarettes a day and pay $7 or there abouts for a pack you will be spending about $220 a month on smoking, over a year this adds up to over $2,600. If you were to start using Green Smoke E cigarettes, for example, the price of one of their refill cartridges is $2.95, this is if you buy them 5 at a time (the fewest that you can buy). One of these cartridges is going to give you the same amount of smoking time as a pack of tobacco cigarettes but it is going to cost you 60% less. Green Smoke have the option of buying your refill cartridges in bulk with the “Cartridges Special” and “Super Cartridges Special”, these can take the cost of a refill down to just under $2.60, this is 1/3 of the price of tobacco cigarettes. Over the year this would reduce your smoking bill to quite a bit less than $1,000. That is a huge amount of money to anyone, especially now with so many people being out of work, taking wage cuts or having to take lower paying jobs.

It is not only Green Smoke that you can make savings with, all of the big smokeless cigarette companies are able to save you a lot of money on your smoking bills, but I do prefer using Green Smoke over the others, that’s why I recommend them. Some are even cheaper than this, with Blu Cigs for example you can buy cartridges that cost $1.92 each. If you smoke tobacco products right now you really are wasting your money and wasting your life away. Switching to these electronic cigarettes has so many advantages, not least the financial savings. Over a year you will have saved enough money to buy a new television, go away on holiday, buy a new closet worth of clothes or what ever it is you are interested in.
